Blue Bag BottleDrop
Campaign

Turn everyday recycling into real support for wildfire recovery families. Request blue bags, fill them with recyclables, and drop at any Oregon redemption center — proceeds fund homes rebuilt by NW Rebuild Project.

Every bottle redeemed goes directly to the 2026 Wildfire Recovery Fund — helping families rebuild homes across Oregon.

Simple Process

How It Works

This campaign connects community recycling efforts with wildfire recovery funding. BottleDrop is Oregon's bottle and can return program, so filled bags must be redeemed at a BottleDrop location in Oregon. The redemption value goes directly to NW Rebuild Project's 2026 Wildfire Recovery Fund.

Questions?

Frequently Asked Questions

What bottles and cans are accepted?

All standard recyclable beverage containers in Oregon — aluminum cans, glass bottles, plastic bottles, and aseptic cartons. Check with your local redemption center for specifics.

How does the money get to wildfire recovery?

When you drop off your filled bags at a BottleDrop location in Oregon, the deposit value is directed to NW Rebuild Project's 2026 Wildfire Recovery Fund. BottleDrop's nonprofit Blue Bag program operates within Oregon's bottle and can return system, so bags must be redeemed in Oregon.

Can my business or school participate?

Absolutely! We love group participation. Businesses, schools, churches, and community organizations can all set up collection points. Larger groups may qualify for bulk bag delivery.

Do bags cost anything?

No — blue bags are provided free of charge as part of this campaign. We just ask that you commit to regular drop-offs so the bags stay in circulation.
