Our Story

Built From a Need to Help

NW Rebuild Project grew from a simple observation: after a disaster, families often need more than encouragement. They need drawings, decisions, documentation, and someone willing to help make the next step understandable.

Since 2020, our organization has brought together design professionals, technical contributors, volunteers, and community supporters to help disaster-affected homeowners move from loss toward a practical rebuild plan. Our work has expanded through completed family rebuilds, community fundraising, professional partnerships, and a growing network of people who believe technical knowledge should be used for public good.

NW Rebuild Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of leaders, designers, drafters, architects, engineers, and support professionals who contribute to disaster recovery across the Pacific Northwest.

Our process is open to everyone. We serve people fairly and equally regardless of race, color, religion, social status, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, political affiliation, or any other characteristic.
