Designed in Chief Architect

The Boyes family lost their home in Detroit, Oregon in the 2020 Labor Day wildfires. NW Rebuild Project designed their new home in Chief Architect — and you can see exactly how it translated from a 3D rendering to the finished building.

Designed for the family who would live there. The home was planned as an open concept so family members who are deaf can maintain sightlines across shared spaces and see one another moving through the home. The layout also incorporates aging-in-place thinking: simple circulation, accessible everyday spaces, and a design that can continue serving the family as needs change over time.
